Odom Learns a Lesson About Off-Season Work

Share

With four games remaining, Lamar Odom is tired and bruised from a long, losing rookie season with the Clippers. Odom, however, says he is already excited about the summer and plans to work on his game so he can be stronger and better prepared for next season.

“I have to learn the pace of the game, the little things to help me every night,” Odom said. “You have to find other ways how to score in this league. Teams watch tape every night. They start to get the feel of what you want to do and how you want to do it.

“I have to learn some new tricks of the trade and use it to my advantage. . . . I will spend [the off-season] in the weight room and watching tape.”
