Gasoline Alternatives

Share

* I think we can all agree that gas prices are outrageous and not getting any better.

The problem is that we need gas, and we can’t live without it. When professional baseball players cry about not making enough money, it’s simple: boycott baseball games. When you can’t boycott, what do you do?

People have been attacking the government about the tax on gasoline being raised, and they are demanding that it to be lowered. Please! Four cents is not going to make a difference when you are paying two bucks per gallon. There must be a better way.

I believe that we need to find--or should I say utilize--the alternative for gas. We have been dabbling in electric cars, but what’s the holdup?

I’m sure large contributions from the oil industry to the government may be playing the biggest role in the slow progression of this “new” technology.

If you are so upset about the gas prices, do something besides complaining and buy an electric car. If everyone started to do this, I guarantee that someone, somewhere would mysteriously find new oil and prices would go way down.

Simple economics: If it’s a necessity, you pay the price.
