College Rodeo

The 43rd annual Pierce College Intercollegiate Rodeo is this weekend in Woodland Hills. Athletes from more than 150 colleges nationwide will compete in bronc and bull riding, barrel racing and other events.

Celtic Music

Scottish master fiddler Alasdair Fraser brings his all-star Celtic band, Skyedance, to Northridge. The band’s repertoire mixes elements of baroque and medieval music, jazz and rock, but still draws deeply from Scottish musical tradition. The group’s fourth CD, “Labyrinth” is available on Culburnie Records.

Family Fare

The third annual Parent, Baby, Child Expo and Kids Fair takes place Sunday in Woodland Hills. More than 100 exhibitors will hawk their wares--featuring the latest in clothes, books, software, camps, schools and other family needs--while rides, a petting zoo, games and other attractions keep the younger visitors busy.

Spring Concert
