The City Council will vote today on a recommendation from the Traffic Commission to prohibit left turns from southbound Lakeview Avenue on to Oriente Drive between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The recommendation was made after several residents complained of speeding vehicles in their neighborhood making it unsafe for their children to play or walk on the street.
Council members are also expected to decide whether to keep five large SAVI Ranch signs visible from the Riverside Freeway. The meeting begins 6:30 p.m. in council chambers, 4845 Casa Loma Ave. Information: (714) 961-7150.
