* Site--The Palace at Auburn Hills, Mich.

* Radio--KPLS (830).

* Records--Sparks 25-3, Detroit 12-15.

* Record vs. Shock--1-0.

* Update--The Sparks can set a WNBA road winning streak record if they defeat Detroit. The 1998 Houston Comets won nine in a row on the road and the Sparks tied that streak with Monday’s 73-66 victory at Minnesota. The struggling Shock has lost five of seven yet clings to the fourth playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. But for how long? Detroit faded badly against Cleveland on Monday, running up a 27-14 lead then swooning at the finish. The Rockers outscored the Shock, 40-21, over the last 14 minutes to win, 76-65. Detroit reactivated 6-foot-6 backup Russian post Oksana Zakaluzhnaya on Monday after she sat out three games because of an ankle sprain. Wendy Palmer averages 14.1 points a game.
