6th Day of Service Added to Bus Route

Share

The VISTA East bus route will begin a sixth day of service, with a bus running this Saturday along the corridor linking Simi Valley, Moorpark and Thousand Oaks.

The service is being expanded because of requests from Moorpark College students and employees wishing to get to and from the campus on weekends.

The bus route runs along California 118, California 23 and onto the Ventura Freeway.

It starts at the Moorpark Metrolink station, stopping at Moorpark College, the Wood Ranch Country Club, and the Oaks and Janss Mall shopping centers, among other places.

The route ends in Westlake. There are 10 scheduled trips in each direction daily, each taking an hour for a one-way trip.

A new stop is also being added at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum.
