FULLERTON
The City Council has agreed to hold two public hearings on the proposed Amerige Heights development at the former Hughes Aircraft Co. site on Malvern Avenue.
SunCal Co., which bought the 293.2-acre site from Raytheon, wants to build 1,250 homes and commercial buildings.
The Planning Commission will meet at 6 p.m. Aug. 23 to review the proposal and hear public comments. The City Council will do the same at a special meeting at 6 p.m. Sept. 18.
