To promote a sense of neighborhood identity, the city is offering free paint to residents planning to spruce up their homes.
The Paint-Up Campaign, a new program organized by the Planning Department to raise pride, property maintenance and responsibility in the community, will provide up to seven gallons of exterior house paint to qualified single-family homeowners.
To qualify for the campaign, a dwelling must be in the city and occupied by the owner. There are also income limits.
