LAGUNA BEACH
The Woman’s Club recently installed its board of directors for the 2000-01 year.
The club has nearly 100 members. Its mission statement this year is to work for the common cause of uniting women throughout the community.
The new officers are Kimberly Salter, president; Bette Anderson, first vice president; Joan Trivett, second vice president; Deborah Spear, treasurer; Anne Wood, recording secretary; R. Leah Holley, corresponding secretary; Jane Egly, financial secretary of membership; Ganell Baker, parliamentarian; Veronica Nice, dean of chairpersons; Marsha Bode, building managers; Karen Jacques, newsletter; Karen Polek, public and community affairs; Anne Johnson, rental liaison; and Sande St. John, philanthropy and women’s resource center.
The next meeting, an ice cream social, is scheduled for Sept. 17.
