The Sawdust Festival is offering free tickets over the Internet today to help generate interest in the event, attendance at which organizers say has dropped 10% this summer.
Jim Steins, Sawdust board treasurer, believes that the lower crowds are due to the cloud of controversy that lingers over the nearby Festival of Arts show, which may relocate to San Clemente.
Residents can print unlimited “e-tickets,” which will save adults $6, seniors $5 and children $2.
For free tickets, visit https://www.sawdustartfestival.org/eticket.htm or call the Sawdust Festival at (949) 494-3030.
