The Murmurs are trying a unique way of introducing a new single via the Internet. Rather than making it available for download or streaming, it will be part of an electronic greeting card available for free at https://www.egreetings.com starting in late September. The song, “Half as Good,” features backup vocals by k.d. lang and previews the Murmurs’ next album. The duo will also be performing Saturday at Universal City’s CityWalk as part of a Rock the Vote event also featuring members of “The West Wing” cast.
