Ewing Could Be Bound for SuperSonics

After 15 seasons without a championship, Patrick Ewing reportedly is willing to say goodbye to the New York Knicks.
Ewing, 38, is said to have given the Knicks a list of eight teams to which he will accept a trade, and a deal with the Seattle SuperSonics for Vin Baker has been discussed.
The Washington Wizards were also on Ewing’s list.
Ewing, who plans to play three more seasons, is willing to waive a no-trade clause in his contract. He is entering the final season of a four-year, $60 million deal that will pay him $14 million this season.
Baker, 28, is due to make $10 million, meaning other players would have to be included in a deal to make it work under the NBA salary cap guidelines.
Baker, who has battled weight problems and bouts of depression the past two seasons, is said to be in the best shape of his life as he prepares to compete for Team USA at the Sydney Olympics.
