Peacock Solution

* Not only did peacocks zap all my seedlings but they took over my enclosed deck for a siesta henhouse. (What a mess--or messes!) I found out fish nets and surprise showers spelled temporary relief. Then I invested in a little pug and taught him to be a bird dog. With a few judicious yaps, he reclaimed and held my territory. And those turkeys got the message and seldom return to test his prowess.
