Woman Found Beaten to Death; Husband Held
MAYWOOD —
A woman was found beaten to death in her home Tuesday and her husband, who was arrested, was hospitalized with self-inflicted stab wounds, sheriff’s deputies said.
Deputies responded to a family disturbance call about 2 a.m. in the 3700 block of 57th Street, deputies said. When they arrived, they found Christine Maria Ruiz, 26, dead of blunt force trauma, said Deputy Cruz Solis.
The woman’s husband, Daniel Ruiz, 25, was arrested on suspicion of murder and was in stable condition at the hospital, Solis said.
