Jaywalker Is Struck by 2 Cars, Killed
LOS ANGELES —
A man crossing Wilshire Boulevard was killed Wednesday night after he was hit by two cars, one of which did not stop, police said.
The man was running across the street near Comstock Avenue in Westwood when a Mercedes struck him in the westbound lanes. The man, who was in his 40s and carried no identification, landed in the eastbound lanes and was struck again by a second car that did not stop, police said.
The pedestrian was not using a crosswalk when he was struck.
