New Park Admission a Disney Pass Option

Walt Disney Co. said Thursday that it will allow Disneyland annual pass holders to gain yearly admission to its second Anaheim amusement park, California Adventure, for additional payments of $60 to $100. The new park is scheduled to open Feb. 8.

Disneyland sells three types of annual pass: $199 for admission any day with parking included, $139 for 320 days a year with parking extra, and $89 for 205 days with parking extra. Adding California Adventure annual admission would boost the passes to $299, $199 and $149, respectively.

The company said annual-pass customers willing to pay more for yearly admission to the new park can get discounts if they buy the California Adventure passes by the end of January. The discount prices are $284, $189 and $139, respectively. People 60 and older get small additional discounts.

The company did not provide information about separate annual passes for California Adventure.

Disney has not yet announced daily admission prices to California Adventure. Daily admission at Disneyland is $43 for adults and $33 for children up to 10 years old.
