SAN DIEGO--Re-enactors will perform Old Town’s Las Posadas the evening of Dec. 13. The procession, which re-creates Mary and Joseph’s search for shelter, begins in Heritage Park and ends in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. HEALDSBURG--This Northern California community celebrates the holidays with horse-drawn carriages, caroling and breakfast with Santa. Carriage rides ($6 to $24 per group) will be offered 5-8 p.m. Dec. 15 and 1-4 p.m. Dec. 16. Carolers will give a free performance in the plaza, 7-8 p.m. Dec. 15. VENTURA--The harbor will be aglow with the 24th annual Parade of Lights Dec. 16 and a Christmas Arts & Crafts Show Dec. 16-17. Caroling and family activities start at 4 p.m. in Harbor Village. FERNDALE--Farm vehicles decorated with holiday scenes and twinkling lights will roll down Main Street in this dairy farming community Dec. 17 during the Christmas Lighted Tractor Parade. 7 to about 8 p.m. Free. (707) 786-4477.
