* IDAHO STATE (6-13, 1-7) at CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE (13-6, 5-3), 7--Northridge defeated the Bengals, 101-86, on Jan. 8 at Pocatello. In that game, guard Marco McCain scored a career-high 19 points and has since established his three-point touch. McCain made six of the Matadors’ 12 three-point shots last week against Cal State Sacramento. Northridge, half a game out of first place in the Big Sky Conference, figures to rely more on its outside game, since forward Andre Larry left the team last week for personal reasons. Kevin Sweetwyne averages 14.9 points and 5.6 rebounds for Idaho State.
