Irvine, for example. The Anteaters hit bottom Thursday, losing to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo at home. They also lost guard Sean Jackson, their third-leading scorer, who suffered a severely sprained left ankle against the Mustangs. It leaves Irvine with only three guards, Jerry Green, Malachi Edmond and Jens Jensen.
