BUENA PARK
The Police Department will host the third annual memorial golf tournament to honor its slain officers.
The tournament will be held March 20 at Los Coyotes Country Club. The event is being sponsored by the Buena Park Police Assn. and hosted by the Police Department.
Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff Shayne York and Buena Park police officer Bud Cate were both killed in the city and a major portion of the proceeds from the tournament will be donated in the names of these two officers to the Buena Park Boys and Girls Club.
