THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Wednesday:

BREA

* Brea Mall: A petty theft was reported in the 500 block at 12:34 p.m. Tuesday.

* North Cattail Circle: Obscene phone calls were reported in the 200 block at 8:01 p.m. Tuesday.

* South Flower Avenue: Malicious mischief was reported in the 200 block at 7:44 a.m. Tuesday.

* East Imperial Highway: A grand theft was reported in the 3000 block at 11:02 a.m. Tuesday.

CYPRESS

* Valley View Street: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 9200 block at 7:35 a.m. Tuesday.

* Carlyle Court: Tools were reported stolen from a garage in the 10400 block at 4:13 p.m. Tuesday.

* Bloomfield Ave: An auto theft was reported in the 9000 block at 5:16 p.m. Tuesday.

IRVINE

* Lori Ann Lane at Ryewood Street: Police cited and released someone on suspicion of possessing less than one ounce of marijuana at 12:53 a.m. Sunday.

* Millikan Avenue: Police reported that a computer was stolen from a business in the 16700 block at 11:43 a.m. Sunday.

LA PALMA

* Redford Lane: Mail was reported stolen from a mailbox in the 8200 block at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday.

* Walker Street: A petty theft was reported in the 8400 block at 5:47 p.m. Tuesday.

ORANGE

* Katella Avenue: A burglar alarm was triggered in the 1000 block at 12:18 a.m. Monday.

* Hewes Street: A burglary was reported in the 11000 block at 11 p.m. Sunday.

PLACENTIA

* South Bradford Avenue: A grand theft was reported at 1:31 p.m. Tuesday.

* Crowther Avenue at Orangethorpe Avenue: A reckless driver was reported at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday.

* East Orangethorpe Avenue: A stolen vehicle was reported in the 100 block at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday.

* Valencia Avenue at Yorba Linda Boulevard: Tagging was reported at 3:04 p.m. Tuesday.

VILLA PARK

* Orangeblossom Circle: A suspicious person was reported in the 10000 block at 1:14 p.m. Saturday.

* Villa Vista Way: A burglar alarm was triggered in the 900 block at 2:03 p.m. Saturday.

YORBA LINDA

* Yorba Linda Boulevard at Village Center Drive: A petty theft was reported at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Wednesday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, La Habra, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Tustin and Westminster.

Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes for the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s incorporated areas.
