Stabbed Man Stable After New Year Bash; Another Injured
A 23-year-old man was stable Saturday after being stabbed four times at a New Year’s party in Placentia.
Another man suffered head injuries in the same incident and was taken to a hospital; his injuries are also not considered life-threatening, authorities said.
About 40 to 50 people were at the party in the 500 block of Ramona Street when the incident occurred about 2:15 a.m. Saturday. An 18-year-old suspect is in custody, said Placentia Police Lt. Bob Jones.
Authorities said the incident may have been gang-related.
