LOS ALAMITOS
Ruben Frutos is starting out the year holding the financial reins of the Los Alamitos Unified School District. The new business manager for the district is replacing Ronald W. Murrey, who took a position in the Covina-Valley Unified School District.
For four years, Frutos has served as the assistant superintendent of business services for the Calexico Unified School District in San Diego County. He graduated from San Diego State University and earned a bachelor of science in psychology and a master’s degree in public administration.
