THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Thursday:

BREA

* Brea Mall: A petty theft was reported at 5:18 p.m. Monday.

* Brea Mall: A burglary was reported at 9:56 p.m. Monday.

* North Brea Boulevard: A burglary was reported in the 500 block at 10 a.m. Sunday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Flying Fish: Someone broke into a home and ransacked the master bedroom in the 10500 block at 12:35 a.m. Tuesday.

* Harbor Boulevard at Heil Avenue: A man was arrested for receiving known stolen property and for possessing controlled substances at 9:42 p.m. Sunday.

FULLERTON

* Lark Ellen Drive: Police responded to a report of a trespass in the 2300 block at 12:34 p.m. Monday.

* East Orangethorpe Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 200 block at 6:29 p.m. Monday.

* West Orangethorpe Avenue: An auto theft was reported in the 400 block at 6:45 p.m. Monday.

* West Orangethorpe Avenue: A robbery alarm went off in the 1000 block at 5:33 p.m. Monday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Cypress Street: A young woman fell off her skateboard and was knocked out at 9:30 a.m. Sunday near Aster Street. She received medical treatment at the scene.

* Ensenada Avenue: An apparently homeless man was found lying face down in some bushes at 11:22 a.m. Saturday in the 1300 block.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Avenida de la Carlota: A 1993 Geo was reported stolen from the 24000 block at 7:50 a.m. Saturday. It was stolen sometime during New Year’s Eve.

LA HABRA

* Lemon Tree Court: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1400 block at 9:42 a.m. Sunday.

* West Lambert Road: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1700 block at 10:06 a.m. Saturday.

LAKE FOREST

* Muirlands Boulevard at La Vaca Street: A driver was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving Saturday after failing field sobriety tests. Deputies stopped the driver for erratic driving at 3 a.m.

ORANGE

* East Crater Lake Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 5000 block at 2:37 a.m. Saturday.

* Lincoln Street at Batavia Street: A theft from a car was reported at 8:45 a.m. Saturday.

PLACENTIA

* East Yorba Linda Boulevard: A vehicle burglary was reported at 8:27 a.m. Monday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Calle Amigo: Juveniles reportedly were breaking glass in the street at 4:15 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block. Deputies were unable to find either the juveniles or any broken glass.

* Lower Pier parking lot: A car alarm was reported at 1:05 a.m. Saturday. Deputies found nothing out of the ordinary.

TUSTIN

* Newport Avenue: A car theft was reported in the 14000 block at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday.

* Nisson Road: A report of vandalism in the 1000 block at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday.

YORBA LINDA

* Paseo de la Cumbre: A petty theft was reported in the 5800 block at 4:17 p.m. Monday.

* South Ohio Street: A petty theft was reported in the 5000 block at 3:31 p.m. Monday.

* Via Canarias: A petty theft was reported in the 20400 block at 11:33 a.m. Monday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Thursday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Villa Park and Westminster.
