In the Century League:

Orange 3, El Modena 2--Trailing, 2-0, at the end of the half, Orange (2-8-2, 1-0) came back with three goals in the last eight minutes of the game.

Rubin Velazquez scored the game-winner in the last final two minutes of regulation and Augustine Garcia, who assisted on Velazquez’s goal, scored the other two goals.

In the Empire League:

Century 3, Cypress 2 (OT)--Miguel Yepez scored the game-winner one minute into overtime for host Century (4-4-2, 1-0).

Anton Jamir scored with three minutes remaining in regulation to send the game into overtime for Cypress (4-3-4, 0-1).

Loara 2, Kennedy 1--Dardo Acuna and Lusi Damian scored goals for Loara (11-4-1, 1-0). Acuna’s goal came in the 15th minute, Damian’s in the final five minutes.

In the Freeway League:

Fullerton 3, Buena Park 1--Damian Silveiara, Carlos Faudoa and David Magana scored for visiting Fullerton (10-4-2, 1-0).

In the Garden Grove League:

Los Amigos 3, Garden Grove 2--Henry Gutierrez tied the score for Los Amigos (8-4-1, 2-0) in the 45th minute and Johnny Rocha scored the game-winner in the 65th minute.

In the Golden West League:

Westminster 4, Tustin 0--Westminster (9-5-1, 1-0) played a man short after right fullback Chad McGowan made an illegal tackle to save a breakaway goal and was ejected in the first five minutes.

Striker Israel Gimenez had two goals and one assist for Westminster, increasing his season totals to 12 goals and nine assists.

In the Pacific Coast League:

Estancia 5, Costa Mesa 0--Cesar Terrones scored three goals for Estancia (7-1-1, 1-0) in the teams’ league opener.

In the Sea View League:

Corona del Mar 2, Laguna Beach 0--Jon Schrank scored two goals in the first half for host Corona del Mar (7-3, 1-0).

Newport Harbor 1, No. 7 Irvine 1--Roy Kim’s goal in the 54th minute enabled Irvine (6-1-3) to avoid an upset in the teams’ league opener. Trey Meek scored in the fifth minute and Duke Burchell had eight saves in goal for Newport Harbor (4-5-2).
