Trustees from the Los Alamitos Unified School District have approved an item involving the outgoing Orange County High School of the Arts.
Los Alamitos High School students who wish to continue with the arts program in lieu of a sixth-period class will have that option. School board members approved an item Monday night in which the district will pay $400 per student for up to 75 students for the year 2000-01 only. After 2001 and beyond the number of 75 students, Orange County High School for the Arts will be responsible financially.
