Good Folk

After a seasonal hiatus, Tom and Becky Lowe will resume their long-running “Folk Music in Ojai” series Tuesday evening, which no doubt will please more than a few area concert-goers. The superb Marley’s Ghost is up first, deftly blending an array of music that includes folk, bluegrass, blues, reggae, Cajun and Celtic stylings. Maybe most impressive, though, is this quartet’s a cappella gospel singing with mighty four-part harmonies. The group’s version of “Amazing Grace” alone would be worth the drive.
