* CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE (10-3, 2-0) at PORTLAND STATE (8-5, 0-1), 7--Northridge is 4-3 on the road, including a 101-86 victory over Idaho State in a Big Sky Conference game last week. The Matadors made a season-high 11 three-point baskets to end a long-range shooting slump. This was supposed to be a rebuilding season for Portland State, but the Vikings have shown a surprising ability to score. Senior forward Ime Udoka averages 15.7 points and 7.8 rebounds, and senior guards Derek Nesland and Hasan Artharee each average 13 points. The Vikings normally play at Memorial Coliseum, but this game will be at the smaller Stott Center on campus, where they are 2-0 this season.
