The deadline is drawing near for residents who want to run for the three open City Council seats.
All candidates must file nomination papers for the April 11 election by 5 p.m. today.
Eight hopefuls and three incumbents have already filed their papers, said City Clerk Meg Monahan.
Today is also the last day for the candidates to withdraw their nomination papers if they decide not to run, Monahan said.
