St. Bonaventure Fans Given a Warning
St. Bonaventure fans, who got their team a technical foul for throwing objects from the stands, were warned about their behavior.
“A recurrence of this problem will result in action by the conference office,” Atlantic 10 Commissioner Linda Bruno said.
Fans threw objects at Temple Coach John Chaney and several Temple players Saturday night at Olean, N.Y. Chaney got a technical foul for smashing a cookie to the floor to get the officials’ attention. He said the cookie had been thrown at him.

A chartered plane carrying the Missouri men’s team made an emergency landing because of fears the plane was losing pressurization.
The DC-9 charter with 34 people on board, including the crew and the Missouri traveling party, landed safely at the Springfield, Mo., airport after passengers heard a “swishing” noise, said Gary Cyr, Springfield’s assistant director of aviation.
Emergency vehicles were sent to the runway after the tower was notified of a possible problem at 8 p.m. It was determined that a window seal had broken. The seal was repaired and the plane continued to Dallas. The Tigers play Baylor in Waco, Texas, today.
