THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Wednesday:

BREA

* Balsa Avenue at Brookwood Street: An injury accident was reported at 8:14 a.m. Tuesday.

* Birch Street: A petty theft was reported in the 600 block at 9:23 a.m. Tuesday.

* West Central Avenue: Obscene telephone calls were reported in the 300 block at 9:11 a.m. Tuesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Livingstone Street: Someone broke into a woman’s home in the 16200 block at 3:38 p.m. Saturday.

* Warner Avenue: Someone broke into a car and stole $750 worth of property in the 11000 block at 5:47 p.m. Saturday.

* Slater Avenue: Someone stole $1,875 worth of property from a car parked in the 10200 block at 9:02 p.m. Saturday.

FULLERTON

* Maplewood Avenue: Police responded to a report of shots heard in the 800 block at 12:56 a.m. Wednesday.

* East Valencia Drive: A burglar alarm went off in the 1100 block at 1:51 a.m. Wednesday.

* East Dorothy Lane: A petty theft was reported in the 2200 block at 5:57 p.m. Tuesday.

* South Whiting Avenue: An auto theft was reported in the 300 block at 9:19 p.m. Tuesday.

LA HABRA

* South Harbor Boulevard: A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 1400 block at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday.

* West Highlander Avenue: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 800 block at 11:22 a.m. Tuesday.

* West La Habra Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 2200 block at 9:42 a.m. Tuesday.

ORANGE

* Rancho Santiago Boulevard: A report of gun shots heard in the 10000 block at 10:38 p.m. Tuesday.

PLACENTIA

* Casa Loma Avenue at Yorba Linda Boulevard: A follow-up on possible narcotics activity was reported at 4:10 a.m. Tuesday.

TUSTIN

* Vanderlip Place: A suspicious person was reported in the 18000 block at 9:14 a.m. Wednesday.

* Warren Avenue: A suspicious person was reported in the 18000 block at 3:19 p.m. Tuesday.

VILLA PARK

* Ludwig Street: A burglar alarm was triggered in the 9000 block at 4:41 p.m. Wednesday.

YORBA LINDA

* Lookout Drive: Obscene phone calls were reported in the 18000 block at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday.

* Valley View Avenue: Obscene phone calls were reported in the 4800 block at 2:52 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Santa Ana, Seal Beach and Westminster.

Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the following communities: Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Midway City, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Rossmoor, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Sunset Beach, Stanton, Villa Park and unincorporated areas.
