The Planning Commission is scheduled Wednesday to review a restaurant’s request for live entertainment, a demand that is growing in the city, commissioners say.
“It’s becoming more popular,” said Commissioner Cheryl Kinsman. “As we’re having more outdoor dining, we’re getting more requests for entertainment.”
The restaurant, 230 Forest, named for its address, would likely employ musicians, performing solo or as a duet, playing guitar, and possibly saxophone or woodwinds.
The Planning Commission meeting will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave.
