THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Tuesday:

BREA

* East Imperial Highway: A grand theft was reported in the 700 block at 2:56 a.m. Monday.

* East Lambert Road: A grand theft was reported in the 500 block at 8:47 a.m. Monday.

* East Saturn Street: A petty theft was reported in the 2900 block at 10:09 a.m. Monday.

* Birch Street/Brea Boulevard: A noninjury traffic accident was reported at 12:59 p.m. Monday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Harbor Boulevard: Someone stole film and cameras from Kmart on the 16100 block at 2:25 p.m. Thursday.

* Newhope Street: Someone stole $1,526 from the floor safe in Fountain Valley Bodyworks on the 17400 block at 2:26 p.m. Thursday.

FULLERTON

* Commonwealth Avenue and Orchard Avenue: A hit-and-run accident was reported at 7:25 p.m. Monday.

* West Orangethorpe Avenue: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 900 block at 3:04 a.m. Tuesday.

* Langsdorf Drive: A burglar alarm went off in the 600 block at 2:08 a.m. Tuesday.

LA HABRA

* South Dexford Drive: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 300 block at 3:01 p.m. Saturday.

* East Whittier Boulevard: An alarm went off in the 1000 block at 7:55 a.m. Sunday.

* West Grayville Drive: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 2600 block at 12:17 p.m. Saturday.

ORANGE

* Magnolia Avenue: A vandalism was reported in the 8500 block at 12:59 p.m. Sunday.

* The City Drive: A report of a hit-and-run incident with a parked car in the 300 block at 8:20 a.m. Sunday.

PLACENTIA

* South Placentia Avenue: A stolen vehicle was reported in the 600 block at 5:58 a.m. Monday.

* Primrose Avenue: A disturbance was reported at 11:07 a.m. Monday.

* West Santa Fe Street: Sound equipment was reported stolen during a vehicle burglary in the 600 block at 12:46 p.m. Monday.

TUSTIN

* Warren Avenue: A prowler was reported in the 18400 block at 4:29 a.m. Monday.

VILLA PARK

* Taft Avenue: A misdemeanor narcotic violation was reported in the 18000 block at 3 p.m. Monday.

YORBA LINDA

* Coventry Lane: An assault and battery was reported in the 20000 block at 4:49 p.m. Monday.

* Yorba Linda Boulevard: Concealed stolen property was found at 2:59 p.m. Monday.

* Via Badalona: A grand theft was reported in the 20000 block at 1:55 p.m. Monday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Santa Ana, Seal Beach and Westminster.

Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forst, Midway City, Mission Viejo and Rancho Santa Margarita. Also covered are Rossmoor, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Sunset Beach, Stanton, Villa Park and unincorporated areas.
