Homicides in La Habra dropped 33%, robberies fell 38%, auto thefts decreased 28% and assaults went down 31% in 1999, according to a crime analysis report released Tuesday.
The city experienced a 20% general decrease in homicides, robberies, auto thefts and assaults.
Officials said the 1999 statistics follow the decreasing trend evident since 1993.
