No. 3 Georgia Routs Mississippi, 75-51

Coco Miller scored a season-high 23 points, including five consecutive three-point baskets, to lead third-ranked Georgia to a 75-51 victory over Mississippi on Thursday night at Oxford, Miss.

The Bulldogs, 20-2 overall and 6-1 in the Southeastern Conference, have won 13 of their last 14 games.

Mississippi (11-7, 0-5) was led by Chandra Dorsey with 18 points, but the Rebels made only 29% of their shots.

No. 7 Penn State 85, Michigan 71--Maren Walseth scored a career-high 35 points to lead the Lions (17-3, 8-1) over the Wolverines (13-6, 5-3) in a Big Ten game at State College, Pa.

Andrea Garner added 16 points and nine rebounds as Penn State rebounded from this week’s Big Ten loss to Michigan State.

No. 9 Duke 101, North Carolina 58--Peppi Browne, Georgia Schweitzer and Lauren Rice each scored 16 points as the Blue Devils (18-2, 7-1) routed the Tar Heels (10-9, 2-6) in an Atlantic Coast Conference game at Durham, N.C., extending their conference home winning streak to 20 games.

Duke, which also got 13 points from Sheana Mosch and 10 from Missy West, jumped to a 24-6 lead in the first 8:23 and stretched its advantage to 52-20 by halftime.

North Carolina, suffering its worst loss to Duke and its seventh defeat in eight games, trailed by as many as 50 points.

No. 20 Mississippi State 74, No. 11 Auburn 68--Nitra Perry scored 18 points, including a buzzer-beating three-point basket to send the game into overtime, as the Bulldogs (16-2, 5-2) outlasted the Tigers (15-4, 4-3) in an SEC game at Starkville, Miss.

Mississippi State, running its home winning streak to 16 games, made 12 of 15 free throws in overtime.

No. 15 UC Santa Barbara 96, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo 72--Kristi Rohr had 20 points and four of her teammates scored in double figures as the Gauchos (16-3, 4-0) routed the Mustangs (4-12, 0-4) in a Big West game at Santa Barbara, running their winning streak to 12 games.

No. 17 Purdue 69, Minnesota 50--Katie Douglas scored 17 of her 25 points in the second half as the Boilermakers (13-5, 5-3) wore down the Golden Gophers (8-11, 1-7) in a Big Ten game at Minneapolis.

Kelly Komara scored 17 points and Michelle Duhart scored 13 to help the Boilermakers to their fourth consecutive victory.

Minnesota has lost its last 22 conference home games.

Washington 85, No. 24 Stanford 83--Megan Franza scored 33 points and Julia Gray made two free throws with 3.8 seconds to play as the Huskies (6-13, 2-5) surprised the Cardinal (11-5, 4-2) in a Pacific 10 Conference game at Seattle.

No. 25 Virginia 58, Wake Forest 47--Svetlana Volnaya scored 20 points to help the Cavaliers (15-5, 7-1) defeat the Deamon Deacons (6-13, 2-6) at Winston-Salem, N.C., and remain tied with Duke atop the ACC.

No. 2 Louisiana Tech’s game against Arkansas Little Rock was postponed because of snow. Arkansas Little Rock officials said the game at North Little Rock, Ark., would be made up this morning. . . . Wendy Larry, coach of No. 16 Old Dominion since 1987, signed a new five-year contract with the school. The contract guarantees a base salary of $140,000 plus income from broadcast packages, summer camps and an annuity.
