Mayor’s Race
* I have to laugh. Rep. Xavier Becerra decides to run for mayor of Los Angeles and we get a story about how this will likely split the Latino voters between him and Speaker Antonio Villaraigosa (Jan. 19). Well, James Hahn, Joel Wachs and Steve Soboroff are all white. How about a companion piece on how they will split the white vote three ways.
