The City Council this week updated its $9.76-million Capital Improvement Plan funded through Measure M, the half-cent county sales tax passed in 1990 for transportation projects. Projects for Los Alamitos include roadway improvements to Los Alamitos Boulevard, Bloomfield Street, Katella and Lexington avenues, citywide sidewalk repairs, new bus turnouts, median construction, traffic signal improvements and a rehabilitation of Old Town West Street.
