Lancaster Stretches Streak to 14, 5-1

Peanut Williams hit his fifth home run, and Jeff Heaverlo (9-4) struck out nine and scattered four hits in 7 1/3 innings to help Lancaster defeat the Mudville Nine, 5-1, Friday night for its 14th consecutive victory in front of 1,586 at Stockton.

Williams’ two-run homer was part of a four-run sixth inning for Lancaster (19-3).
