Sledge’s Four RBIs Power Lancaster

Right fielder Terrmel Sledge went four for five and drove in four runs in the JetHawks’ 7-3 California League victory Tuesday night against the Mudville Nine of Stockton at Lancaster.

Robert Gandolfo went three for four and scored two runs.

Right-hander Chris Mears (8-5) allowed six hits and no earned runs in 6 2/3 innings. He struck out four and walked two.

Right-hander Jeff Heaverlo (11-4) struck out nine and allowed five hits and two runs in seven innings for the JetHawks in an 8-2 victory over Mudville on Monday night at Lancaster.

First baseman Craig Kuzmic had three hits, including his 20th double, and knocked in two runs for Lancaster.

On Sunday, Kuzmic had three hits, including a home run, and six runs batted in, and Bo Robinson had four RBIs in the JetHawks’ 21-10 victory over Mudville.

Every starter scored and drove in runs for the JetHawks, who had 15 hits and seven walks. Lancaster gave up 17 hits.
