The Dog Days of Summer Talent Show and Competition will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Downtown Fullerton Plaza on Wilshire Avenue. The event will feature Cody the talking dog, who has a “vocabulary” of 30 words. Competitions will include best-dressed dog, funniest pet trick, ugliest dog, waggiest tail and the dog that most resembles its owner. Canine-related information booths also will be available.
