* Choral Music--The 50-voice Santa Clarita Master Chorale will perform Friday and Saturday at Valencia United Methodist Church. * Coin Show--Coin Expo/Valley is set for this weekend at St. Nicholas Community Center in Encino. The show will celebrate Independence Day a little early, with a collection of July 4 coins and medals. Also, a variety of U.S. and international coins will be on display, along with collecting supplies, memorabilia and other collectibles. * Family Fare--The Getty Center’s Family Festival on Saturday will feature music, dance, workshops and storytelling from around the world. Mexican American singer and composer Lalo Guerrero will perform, along with Hawaiian music act Keali’i O’Nalani, the Mariachi Estrella de Mexico and others. * Horse Show--The Royal Black Dancing Friesians provide a night of pageantry and the blending of skill and communication between horse and human during a performance Saturday at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. * Alfresco Music--The Valley Cultural Center’s Concerts in the Park series opens its 25th anniversary season Sunday at Warner Park in Woodland Hills. The Clyde and Mary Lou Porter Community Concert will feature local high school bands. This year’s lineup of free concerts includes performances by Kenny Loggins, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, the Bill Elliot Swing Orchestra, Airto Moreira and Flora Purim.
