Ante Razov scored in the 68th minute as the United States played to a 1-1 tie with Ireland Tuesday night in the U.S. Cup, in which there was a 22-minute power outage.

Wind whipped at 35 mph and a driving rainstorm drenched the crowd before the outage in the 71st minute that caused the Foxboro Stadium lights to go out. The game clock continued to run, and some billboards remained illuminated with auxiliary power.

Power was restored 10 minutes later, and the game resumed shortly thereafter.

Ireland (0-0-2 in the tournament) took a 1-0 lead when Domonic Foley scored in the 31st minute.

Razov then got behind the defense and bounced a pass from Earnie Stewart into the net to tie it for the U.S. (1-0-1).

U.S. Coach Bruce Arena is using the U.S. Cup to pick the squad that will compete in World Cup qualifying starting next month.
