* Island Views--Photography works by William B. Dewey, documenting the historic Vail-Vickers cattle ranching operation on Santa Rosa Island, will be on display beginning June 16 at Channel Islands National Park Visitor Center, 1901 Spinnaker Drive, Ventura. The images were made earlier this year and depict ranch buildings--some dating to the mid-1800s--including corrals, pastures and more. The exhibit will run through Sept. 14. * Theater--Agatha Christie’s “Ten Little Indians” will open June 16 at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, 3050 Los Angeles Ave. The murder-mystery is a production of the Santa Paula Theater Center. * Cultural--Tri-Counties African American Chamber of Commerce hosts its 10th annual Juneteenth Day Celebration in Oxnard, commemorating the day the last slaves in America were freed. The event took place in the small town of Comanche Crossing, Texas, two years after President Lincoln’s signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. Held June 17 at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center, 800 Hobson Way, activities will include cultural programs, arts and crafts vendors, food and live entertainment.
