2 Critically Wounded in Shooting; Suspect Arrested
Two people were shot and critically wounded Wednesday night in a house near 12th Street and Garey Avenue, police said.
The shooting occurred shortly before 8 p.m., and a 17-year-old male was arrested in the back yard, police said.
One victim was in the front yard and shots were still being fired when county paramedics arrived, said Fire Department Capt. Brian Jordan.
The paramedics treated two people, including a 20-year-man with a head wound, said Fire Department Capt. Brian Jordan.
“The victims were all in the same family,” the police dispatcher said.
The motive for the shooting and the relationship of the attacker and victims were not immediately known.
