Albright Arrives for Democracy Talks

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright arrived in Warsaw to join foreign ministers from about 100 countries for discussions on human rights and democratic institutions. The two-day conference, to begin Monday, will focus on strengthening international institutions and sharing experiences on building enduring democratic structures. The conference is being sponsored by the U.S., Poland, the Czech Republic, Chile, India and South Korea.
