* Countrywide Home Loans Inc. in Calabasas announced the promotion of four senior officers to senior managing directors. Kevin W. Bartlett will oversee all activities related to loan products as senior managing director of secondary products. Thomas H. Boone, as senior managing director of global mortgage services, will oversee domestic loan administration and global markets, including Global Home Loans Ltd. and other divisions. Carlos M. Garcia has been promoted to senior managing director and chief operating officer, with responsibility over all corporate operations. David Sambol assumes the role of senior managing director of production and will continue as chief executive of Countrywide Capital Markets Inc.

Countrywide Home Loans is a subsidiary of Countrywide Credit Industries.

* Universal Studios in Universal City announced three senior management moves. Maren Christensen has been promoted to senior vice president of intellectual property. Kay Solomon has been appointed senior vice president of human resources. Lori Shackel has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing and creative services for the company’s Universal Worldwide Television division.

* Barry L. Rhine has been named president of PRC Inc., a subsidiary of Litton Industries of Woodland Hills. He replaces Leonard M. Pomata, who resigned June 13.

Litton PRC provides scientific, engineering and information technology for public-sector clients. It is a division of Litton’s Information Systems Group.

* Paul R. Alanis has been appointed chief executive of Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. in Glendale. He will continue in his role as president and chief operating officer of the company. He replaces R. D. Hubbard, who remains chairman of the board.

Pinnacle Entertainment owns and operates eight casinos in Nevada, Mississippi, Louisiana and Argentina.

* Nigel Stout, an industrial sales and leasing specialist with the Sherman Oaks office of Grubb & Ellis Co., has been promoted to associate vice president. Stout’s focus is industrial properties in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys.

Grubb & Ellis is a commercial real estate services firm with offices and affiliates in about 90 markets.

* SIGS/101 announced new appointments to its management staff as part of restructuring efforts within the company’s U.S. conference division. Al Tiano has been named sales manager, Elizabeth Style becomes logistics manager, Rebecca Jones will be conference manager and Jim Turner takes on the job of program manager. Tiano, Jones and Turner will be based out of the division’s new Chatsworth headquarters.

SIGS/101 is a property of 101 Communications of Chatsworth, an integrated media company in the business-to-business market, focused on the information technology industry.

* Jonathan Doctor has formed Care Delivery Solutions Corp. of Glendale, a health-care start-up technology service company. The company’s mission is to develop cost-effective automated products and services for health-care providers.

Rod Boone has been appointed executive vice president of Syncor International Corp., Woodland Hills, and president of the company’s Pharmacy Services division.

Syncor International provides high-technology health care services emphasizing nuclear pharmaceuticals.

* Doug Moreland has been promoted to senior vice president, pre-development, Walt Disney Imagineering, Burbank. Moreland is responsible for the company’s real estate pre-development strategies.

* Michael Fergoda joins Fallbrook National Bank as business development officer and manager of the bank’s new Glendale Small Business Administration division office.

Fallbrook National Bank is a community banking and commercial lending bank primarily serving the San Diego area and the Inland Empire with additional lending niches of SBA and aircraft.

* Mike Taliaferro has been named executive vice president and head of production, builder division and national branch system with Countrywide Home Loans Inc., Calabasas. Taliaferro will oversee branch production across the country, concentrating on strategic use of sales resources, products services and business partner relationships.

Countrywide produces, purchases, sells and services loans for single-family homes.

* Dick Clark Communications Inc., Burbank, has hired Kim Ashton and Chris Ryall to serve on its project management team. Ashton is the project manager responsible for communications between clients and the management team. Ryall as project director will help design concepts and proposals for clients and marketing.

The company is a unit of Dick Clark Productions Inc., which provides television programming for networks, distributors and advertisers.
