In other men’s games:

Moorpark 68, Irvine Valley 57--Ryan Ellis had 19 points and Mike Ahmad 12 for the Lasers, who did not shoot a free throw at Moorpark.

Irvine Valley, which had its seven-game winning streak stopped, finished 21-11. Moorpark plays at Cerritos Saturday.

Los Angeles City 76, Fullerton 65--The visiting Hornets made 23 of 24 free throws, had only nine turnovers and cut the lead to 73-65 with 54 seconds left, but couldn’t pull off the upset.

Todd Jones led Fullerton (18-15), with 14 points.

Los Angeles City plays host to Glendale and Bakersfield is at Riverside in the other regional finals.

In women’s playoff games:

Santa Ana 73, Mount San Antonio 53--Host Santa Ana (29-3), playing for the first time in 10 days, used a 23-3 run early in the game to pull away.

Sophomore guard Atari Parker had 17 in the first half and finished with 25 points and 10 rebounds for Santa Ana, which will host Orange Empire Conference foe Riverside at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in a regional final.

Irvine Valley 70, Los Angeles Trade Tech 65--Jennifer O’Keefe completed a three-point play to give host Irvine Valley a 67-65 lead in overtime with 1:21 left.

Dawn Regan had 24 points for Irvine Valley (23-8), which plays at Canyons Saturday for a berth in the state tournament.

Riverside 75, Fullerton 66--Riverside opened the second half with a 20-7 run to take a 62-38 lead. The Hornets (19-16) were able to pull back within 11, but never got closer.
