Career Fair to Be Held at Oaks Mall
The Conejo Valley Unified School District’s Career Faire 2000 will be held this evening at The Oaks mall.
Organizers say representatives from more than 60 professions will be on hand to answer questions.
“But it’s not a job fair,” said Susan Loganbill, one of the organizers and a college and career advisor at Westlake High School. “It’s information on careers. These are representatives from our community who are giving their time to educate students on the various kinds of careers available when they graduate high school or college.”
The fair runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The mall is at 222 Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. The school district has held the career fair for the past several years, the last four at the mall.
