BUENA PARK
About 45 students from Buena Park Junior High will be going on the annual Heritage Trip to Washington on April 1, and two of them owe thanks to two local groups that donated money for their trip.
The Buena Park Elks Lodge #2046 and the Emblem Club #340 donated about $4,000 so the students could go on the weeklong trip to learn about the nation’s early history. They will visit a variety of sites, including the FBI crime labs, Capitol Hill and some Smithsonian museums.
