Golden League Race Appears Wide Open
Highland and Palmdale highs aren’t the only teams capable of winning the Golden League title.
They are the favorites, but they could be beaten by any team in the league.
“Everybody’s in there in the hunt,” said Coach Maury Cauchon of Quartz Hill, basing his thoughts on the success of the league in the San Fernando Valley tournament. “Lancaster did well in the tournament, we did well, Palmdale did well.”
The six Golden League teams play each other three times during league play, which began Friday.
